Evening in the University (Family)
You’re already welcome here—print what helps; skip the rest without guilt.
Read aloud once. One small question is enough. One prayer. Progress still saves in Battle Plans on this device—this page is for paper when screens feel loud.
Day 1 — When you sit, walk, lie down
Deuteronomy 6:6–7 — And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
One question: What did you hear? Short answers are enough.
Day 2 — Lay me down in peace
Psalm 4:8 — I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.
Turn off an extra screen; read once in soft light. Whisper amen if you like.
Day 3 — Abide with us
Luke 24:29 — But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.
Name kindly if someone’s day felt “far spent.” A candle or soft lamp is enough.
Day 4 — Rest for your souls
Matthew 11:28–30 — Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Smallest voice may read a phrase—or only listen. End with Amen.
