A quiet reference so every coloring page, story, and loop feels like one peaceful place.

Core principles (always)

• Calm and reverent — never busy or cartoonish
• King James Version only — accurate and italic where it feels gentle
• Plenty of breathing room — line-height 1.75, soft gold accents
• Print-friendly — minimal ink, good contrast
• Offline-first and private — nothing extra loads

Colors & accents

Use --kids-gold for gentle frames and highlights.

Typography

Georgia serif for stories and verses — feels like an old family Bible.

Step 3 — Story library

• Story cards: soft gold border, calm shadow, gentle hover (respects reduced motion).
• Read-aloud: line-height 1.75, max-width 40rem in the read-quiz panel.
• Loop cards on the Bible Loop Library page use the same gold accent.
