When school feels hard (one page)

You’re already welcome here—print what helps; skip the rest without guilt.

For a rough morning, a bad grade, or a long ride home—five anchor lines for kids and grown-ups. Pair with Back-to-School Courage, Little Hearts Fear, or The University of Anxiety & Fear on this device if you want day-by-day steps; this sheet is only the verses.

Talk to God first

Philippians 4:6–7

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Permission to say the worry out loud—He already hears you.

His yoke, not a score

Matthew 11:28–30

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Rest is His sentence, not your perfect day.

Held, not left

Isaiah 41:10

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Hallway or parking lot—the same right hand.

Trust one step

Proverbs 3:5–6

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

You do not have to see the whole semester—only the next step.

Strong and of good courage

Joshua 1:9

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Courage can sound like a small voice—it still counts.
